Listen up!

I’m so excited about Unichurch camp this coming weekend! There are stacks of us going and the committee has done a great job getting it all together. It’s going to be the good type of crazy, with lots of time to hang out and fun stuff to do. I’m especially keen to hear what the Bible has to say about the topic this year – Men & Women – and chewing it over with you all over multiple cups of tea.

Anyway, I thought I’d just give some links to podcasts from other churches about gender etc – I haven’t listened to all of these, but I have heard other sermons from these guys and I reckon they’re pretty good*. 

All Souls, Langham Place has a series on 1 Corinthians, including chapter 7 (singleness in the church) and 11 (head coverings etc).

Christians in the Media (student ministry group in Sydney) have topical talks on relationships, gender, love & sex by Dominc Steele and others.

Mars Hill in the US has sermons on just about everything, including 1 Timothy 2 (key passage bout men & women in church).

I accessed all these via itunes, so I’m sure you can too. Oh, and they’re all free! Praise God for technology.

* Just because it’s a podcast, though, doesn’t mean it’s right, so don’t switch off your brain when you switch on your ipod. Same goes for when you go to church, come to think of it
